DR. TIFFANY B. SHELTON, CEO | LEAD FACILITATOR

Dr. Tiffany Brown Shelton is an innovative and passionate Human Resources and Talent Development professional located in Greensboro, NC. Her current professional capacity is serving as the Deputy Director of Human Resources for the City of Greensboro. Her areas of oversight include Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, and Compensation. She has obtained various professional certifications and is affiliated with HR/OD professional organizations. 

Though Tiffany’s HR experience began with a Training and Development specialization, through progressive experience, she has touched all facets of the HR industry. She is passionate about sharing her journey to help emerging professionals as well as reignite the passion of seasoned practitioners. Her experience brings resources to promote successful leaders, teams and organizations in government, higher education and the corporate setting. Her professional passions and research interests rest in Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Group Dynamics and Talent Management. She has a particular investment in the growth of student leaders on the collegiate level.

 
Dr. Shelton graduated from NC A&T State University where this passion for cultivating the talents of college students first began. For over two decades, she has served as both Director/Coach for the Golden Delight Auxiliary and Leadership Development Coordinator with the NC A&T Marching Band. The work she does now allows her take these critical leadership lessons and provide meaningful experiences for students and those tasked with leading college students. She received her Masters of Public Administration from NC State University where her concentration was HR Development. Her academic journey culminates with a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University. Dr. Shelton's research focus explored leading from the middle of the organization and the often overlooked value of developing one's followership in pursuit of leadership excellence.

Tiffany is active in her community and is a member of the Greensboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Tau Beta Sigma Honorary Band Sorority, Inc. She is a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. She loves to read, hear live music and travel.
